Why Early Planning and Design Is the Best Investment in a Greenhouse

The converse also holds: in an unplanned greenhouse, the waste is locked in before construction starts — it just doesn’t show until operation.
Where an Undesigned Greenhouse Costs You
- Poor workflow: every extra step and extra trip, multiplied over ten years, is real labour cost.
- Mismatched space: when columns, aisles, and benches aren’t designed together, usable growing area often shrinks 10–20% below what’s on paper.
